Hi. I've decided to add my voice to the multitude already in existence on the interwebs.
This
blog contains my thoughts on a variety of topics. I imagine that it
will be funny, sad, political, random, weird, magical and occasionally
informative, but only occasionally.
About the name, I feel like everybody has this image of who we can be floating around
in our heads. I could learn
how to knit or play the harmonica! I could be the kind of person who
goes spelunking or deep-sea diving! I could be a writer or an activist
that gets arrested for my ideals! I can learn to play the guitar from
youtube videos and serenade my significant other!
Sometimes we give up on that image and accept
everything for what it its. The other day, I was looking at Sky Mall
Magazine and they had a silver bracelet that bore the inscription, "It
Is What It Is". Seriously, and it was like $50.
It may be
exhausting, but I will never give up on becoming the person I want to
be. Some may think I'm a dumb horse with a traffic cone on my head, but
someday I'll be a Unicorn.
